The NWNNA general meetings are the fourth Thursday of every month at the Flamingo . Anyone who lives in or is interested in the Northwest/Time Check area is welcome to attend. The time is 6:30 PM. We are proud of and thankful for, our relationship with the city staff who attend our meetings, as well as Lt. McGarvey of the Police Dept. Our world is smaller and safer because of them. Come and share the activities--good or bad--of your neighborhood. Let's talk.
Looking to the Future
Northwest Neighbors are helping rebuild the Time Check neighborhood in which lived people who from the beginning built Cedar Rapids in to the dynamic community it has become.
Making Things Better Now
Remaking the neighborhood we know and love: Northwest Neighbors seek a vision to unite the energy and efforts of neighbors helping neighbors, as we continue to recover from the Flood of 2008, mend our neighborhood, and renew it as a vital contributor to Cedar Rapids and Linn County.
